- Consecutive Contacts — 바카라사이트 A player may not hit the ball 2 times consecutively except when blocking, provided the contacts take place simultaneously. However, a player may make consecutive contacts on the teams first team contact, provided the contacts occur during one action.
- Four Hits — a team hits the ball four times before returning it. 9.3. 4 DOUBLE CONTACT: a player hits the ball twice in succession or the ball contacts various parts of his/ her body in succession.
- Assisted Hit — A player is not allowed to be helped by a team member or object in order to reach the ball, but if they are about to commit a fault then they will not be penalized if a teammate pulls them back to prevent them doing so.
- Catch — the ball is a catch if it does not rebound from the contact, meaning that it bounces off the fingers and/or hands. This rule also applies to passes and hits, as well as sets. Determine whether or not the ball was hit with an open hand.
- Ball Crossing the Net Outside the Crossing Space — When a player hits the ball either into the net or the antenna, or outside of the court or antenna it is called an “attack/hitting error”.
- Reaching Over the Net —We’ve all seen a ball passed up tight to the net and the opposing player jumps up and attacks the ball straight down. This thunderous hit usually provokes ooos and ahhs from the crowd. Sometimes in this situation the player is hitting the ball when the entire ball is on the other side of the net. Technically, attacking the ball when the entire ball is on the other side of the net is illegal.There isn’’t any situation where a player can attack the ball when the ball is completely on the other side of the net.
- Penetration Under the Net — involves moving a backrow setter into the front court in order to perform a set. A front-court setter can then act as a third smasher.
- Contact with the Net — Contact with the net is only a fault if contact is made during the action of playing the ball or if it interferes with play.
- Foot Fault — Occurs when a player while serving places a foot over or on the back line or when any player puts a foot over the center line into their opponents side of the court.
